The Reuters News Organization which is based in the United Kingdom (UK) recently ran a highly explosive Report about how the Armed Forces of the United States (US) ran a Disinformation Campaign in the Philippines back in 2020 against Chinese made Vaccines and Medical Equipment which very likely indirectly caused the Deaths of many Filipinos.
The US Military launched the Disinformation Campaign to counter China's growing influence in the Philippines then under the Administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte. They did this by creating fake Accounts on Social Media and pretending to be Filipinos, and then spreading disinformation about China's Face Masks, Test Kits and Vaccines.
Reuters identified around 300 Accounts on the Social Media Platform "X" which were Part of that Campaign, but the Accounts had later been removed by the Platform. The then Head of the US' Special Operations Command, General Jonathan Braga reportedly was the Mastermind of the entire Operation, while the then Defense Secretary of the US, Mark Esper gave the approval for such an Operation.
The Campaign was run by US Soldiers and Contractors that were based at the MacDill Air Force Base in Florida in the US. The US Company “General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT)” was reportedly one of the main Contractors of the Operation.
Note that General Dynamics was the original Manufacturer of the F-16 Fighting Falcon Fighter Aircraft, but has since sold that Part of their Business to another US Defense Company, “Lockheed Martin”.
This whole Report is just another Proof of how the US continues to interfere directly with the Internal Affairs of the Philippines. And not only did they interfere, they interfered without any regard for Filipino Lives, they only were looking after their own Interests, it didn’t matter if Filipinos died because of it, they didn’t even think about it.
Because of that Disinformation Campaign, many Filipinos ended up hesitating taking the Vaccines that were already made available then by China. Some of those Filipinos got infected by the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) and from those who were infected, a number of them died as a Result.
And these from the very same People who are supposed to be our “Allies”, the very same ones who are constantly working with our Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) thru their Military Exercises. So how will the AFP react now to these People who are supposed to be their Partners, knowing the Fact that they were also responsible for the Deaths of many Filipinos?
That is the big Question that deserves to be answered by those who are involved in it.
