May 6, 2024: PA ATMOS in the Direct Fire Mode in Ilocos Norte
Here is something you don't see everyday, the Philippine Army's (PA) Autonomous Truck Mounted-howitzer System (ATMOS) being used in the Direct Firing Mode during a Counter-Landing Live Fire Exercised (LFX) in Ilocos Norte recently.
The 3rd Self-Propelled Battery of the 10th Field Artillery Battalion (10FAB) of the PA participated in the Event.

March 16, 2024: PA ATMOS also used at the CATEX Katihan’s Battle Period 2 in Tarlac recently
Another of the Assets used by the Philippine Army (PA) during their recent Combined Arms Training Exercise (CATEX) "Katihan's Battle Period 2" at the Colonel Ernesto Rabina Air Base (CERAB) in Capas, Tarlac was the Autonomous Truck MOunted-howitzer System (ATMOS) with its 155 mm caliber Howitzer.
These ATMOS Units have been the “Star” of the PA recently, having been used in several Fire Fights already. This has made the PA a bit less reliant on the Aerial Firepower of the Philippine Air Force (PAF), they are now able to provide much needed accurate Fire Support to their own Troops on their own. Here’s hoping to have more of these valuable Units for the PA in the near Future.

September 22, 2023: ATMOS conducts Live-Fire Test during first Philippine Army internal Interoperability Exercise
The Army Artillery Regiment (AAR), Army Aviation Regiment (AAvnR) and Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) SFR(A) recently conducted their first Interoperability Exercise (IOX) in Nueva Ecija, which included the live-firing of the Philippine Army’s (PA) newest Artillery Asset, the Autonomous Truck MOunted-howitzer System (ATMOS)
