The Armed Forces of China and Cambodia recently conducted a Joint Military Exercise called the “Golden Dragon 2024”, and one of the Highlights of that Exercise was the use by Chinese Forces of a Robot Dog and a Hexacopter Drone that were armed with QBZ-95 Assault Rifles

This is one of the first few times that the Chinese Military has been shown using these Dogs and Drones during a Military Exercise.

The Robot Dog is a Version of the “B1 Landlord” Quadraped Robot built by the Chinese Company “Unitree Robotics” that has been adapted for armed Military Use. According to its Website, the B1 weighs 50 kg, can carry and walk with loads of up to 20 kg, and has a Battery Life of between two to five Hours.

It has a speed that is just slightly less than the Walking Speed of an average Human, and it is Dust and Water Resistant with an Ingress Protection (IP) Rating of 68, meaning it can be submerged to up to three meters of Water.

The Commercial Version costs around Usd 100,000, the Military Version is likely to be a bit more expensive.

The Hexacopter Drone has less Details, but it definitely is one of the many Hexacopter Drones being manufactured in China. It was seen firing at a Target with its Rifle.

The QBZ-95 is currently the standard Assault Rifle of the Chinese Armed Forces, it uses the 5.8 by 42 mm caliber Ammunition and has an effective Range of around 400 meters.
