October 2, 2024: BRP Ruiz participates in Fluvial Parade and Town Fiesta ni Agusan del Norte
The BRP Hilario Ruiz (PC-378), a Jose Andrada-class Patrol Craft of the Philippine Navy (PN), recently participated in a Fluvial Parade honor of a Saint and to celebrate the Town Festival in Nasipit, Agusan del Norte.
The BRP Ruiz was first commissioned into Service with the PN in 1995, so next Year of 2025 will be celebrating its’ 30th Year of Service with the PN. It’s always good to see the PN give support to the Local Communities they operate in like what they did here in this instance.

September 3, 2024: BRP Flojo helps celebrate the Maritime Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month
The BRP Filipino Flojo (PC-386), a Jose Andrada-class Patrol Craft of the Philippine Navy (PN) recently participated in a Flag Raising Ceremony and Rank Inspection to celebrate the Maritime Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) at the Naval Base Rafael Ramos in Cebu.
The BRP Flojo was first commissioned into Service with the PN in 1996, so it has been with the Navy for almost three Decades now. It is armed with a single 25 mm caliber Cannon on a Mk 38 Mount as its Main Gun, four .50 caliber Heavy Machine Gun (HMG) and two 7.62 mm caliber Light Machine Gun (LMG)

Just a good, close look at the Mk 38 Mod 1 25 mm caliber Main Gun of the BRP Juan Magluyan (PC-392), a Jose Andrada-class Patrol Boat of the Philippine Navy (PN), during the one Day Refresher Training for it for the Officers and Men of the Ship.
The Training allowed the Crew to have enhanced familiarity with the Safety Procedures and Protocols, and the Maintenance and Troubleshooting of the Gun. Aside from the Cannon, the BRP Magluyan is also armed with .50 caliber Heavy Machine Guns (HMG) and 7.62 mm caliber Light Machine Guns (LMG).
The Vessel was first commissioned into Service in 1998, so it has served the PN for over two and a half Decades now

August 16, 2024: The BRP Hilario Ruiz of the PN
Just a rare, recent look at the BRP Hilario Ruiz (PC-378) and its Crew. The BRP Ruiz is one of the 22 Vessels that comprise the Jose Andrada-class Patrol Boats of the Philippine Navy (PN), and it belongs to the first Batch of nine Vessels that were not armed with the Mk 38 25 mm caliber Gun like the other Vessels of the Andrada-class.
It is instead armed with four .50 caliber Heavy Machine Guns (HMG) and two 7.62 mm caliber Light Machine Guns (LMG). The Andrada-class are some of the PN’s older Patrol Boats, they were first commissioned into Service starting in 1990, so they have been around for around two to three Decades now.

December 9, 2023: The BRP Loor's Main Weapons
Just a good look at the Main Weapons of the BRP Jose Loor Sr. (PC-390), a Jose Andrada-class Patrol Craft of the Philippine Navy (PN) which recently conducted Maritime Patrol, External Defense Operations and Information Operation Effort in the Areas of Great Bangkungan, Taganak, Mapun and Pearl Bank which is located between the Sulu Archipelago and Sabah.
The BRP Loor’s Main Weapons consists of two .50 caliber Heavy Machine Guns (HMG) and a Mk 38 Bushmaster 25 mm caliber Cannon.

February 28, 2023: BRP Inigo rescued 21 People of an adrift Boat in Mindanao recently
The BRP Florencio Inigo (PC-393), a Jose-Andrada class Patrol Boat of the Philippine Navy (PN), recently rescued the six Crew and 15 Passengers of the M/L Rihanna after it was set adrift due to Engine trouble off the Coast of Tagupi Island
